Jeff Wade serves as the Director of Programming, and News Director for WBAL NewsRadio 1090 AM and 101.5 FM in Baltimore, MD. Wade joined WBAL in 2017 as the station’s news director, and during his tenure, the station’s news team has earned a National Murrow Award for Breaking News Coverage along with numerous Regional Murrow Awards, including a Regional Murrow for Overall Excellence in 2022. In his current role, Jeff oversees WBAL’s on-air hosts and news team. He has previously held similar roles at WGAN-AM in Portland, Maine from 2005-2014 and Binnie Media’s NH1 News in New Hampshire from 2014-2017.
