Since February 2018, Mike Schaefer has guided News Talk 1110 and 93.3 WBT in Charlotte, North Carolina as the station’s program director. Schaefer made the move to NC following a 26-year stint with iHeartMedia in Los Angeles where he held the role of Assistant Program Director at KFI 640 and KEIB 1150 in addition to working on KTLK AM 1150, XTRA Sports 690 & 1150, Talk Radio AM 570 KLAC, Fox Sports Radio, The Phil Hendrie Show, Premiere Networks, K-EARTH 101, 95.5 KLOS, KCLA, American Radio Network, and 88.5 KCSN. During the course of his radio career, Mike has been privileged to hold just about every Programming support position at various News/Talk and Music stations including Operations, On-Air, Producer, Board Operator, Screener, and Promotions.
